Explore Corfu Like a Local Yia sas! (Hello!) I’m Georgia, a licensed professional tourist guide born and raised on the beautiful island of Corfu. I truly love this profession and enjoy sharing every corner of my island with my guests. Choosing me as your guide means discovering Corfu at a relaxed pace, seeing its famous sights and hidden gems while experiencing its culture, history, and natural beauty with a local expert who is passionate about her home. Graduated from the official guiding school of the Organization of Tourism Education & Training (OTEK), I have been guiding professionally since 2010, specializing in private tours, VIP travelers, and cruise guests. Since then, I have personally led over 3,500 tours for private guests, small groups, and cruise passengers, including guests with special needs. This experience gives me the insight to ensure smooth, worry-free tours, well-organized logistics, and effortless flow, so every moment is relaxing, perfectly timed, and enjoyable to the fullest. Growing up in a family-run taverna, I learned from a young age how to connect with people from all over the world. This shaped the way I guide my guests today: with warmth, patience, and a personal touch, making every tour friendly, engaging, and memorable. I have worked extensively with major cruise lines such as Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Seabourn, Regent Seven Seas, Silversea, Viking, Crystal, and Celebrity. This experience allows me to understand cruise schedules, port logistics, and the importance of smooth, stress-free flow, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and enjoyable tour. I have no restrictions in my guiding and enjoy every moment being with my guests, tailoring each experience to their interests, pace, and preferences. Do not hesitate to contact me — I will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. I really look forward to meeting you and showing you around the place I love most, my home – CORFU!

This half-day private experience is designed around calm pacing, flexibility and realistic timing, allowing you to enjoy Corfu comfortably without pressure. The focus is on scenery and atmosphere rather than rushing through a fixed program. You’ll take in some of Corfu’s most scenic coastal and hillside views, with time for photos, short pauses and unhurried moments. In Paleokastritsa, the experience adapts to preferences and conditions on the day, whether that includes visiting the monastery, enjoying time by the sea, or choosing an optional boat trip to the caves. The route also includes one of the island’s most famous panoramic viewpoints, where you can relax and fully enjoy the landscape. The day is planned with real conditions in mind, ensuring a smooth flow and a comfortable return, especially for cruise guests. My aim is for the experience to feel easy and natural, so you can enjoy Corfu’s views without rushing — and leave feeling genuinely welcomed.

What a delightful day. Corfu was beautiful and Georgia, our guide, was fantastic. Do not miss the boat ride into the grottos. It was a highlight of our cruise. And the views from the top of the mountain--as good as anywhere in the world.
Georgia is enthusiastic, passionate about the beautiful areas of Corfu she showed us and is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. I would highly recommend her as your guide.
We had a wonderful day with Georgia and her driver. She knows everything about Corfu and we learned so much. Everywhere we went was stunning. We did the blue caves boat ride and were just blown away. Everything included in the tour was amazing. They both took great care of us and we felt lucky that they were available. Georgia speaks perfect English and has a great sense of humor. We just loved her!
So happy we used Georgia for our time in Corfu! Easy to work with, very knowledgeable and fun, made our trip the best! Love spending times with locals who love their area and sharing it with others. Would definitely recommend Georgia and Tours by Locals.
Georgia is the real deal insider to Corfu with special places too see, eat and enjoy. We really enjoyed the journey into hidden less traveled places in Corfu, the amazing views, the monestary and delicious desserts overlooking the sea. A great sense of humor and she knows everyone. Enjoy her time and experience when in Corfu.

Corfu, Greece
For cruise guests, the meeting point is inside the cruise terminal building, just before the exit area. After disembarkation, you may walk or take the Interport shuttle bus (blue and white, which departs close to your ship and runs every 3–4 minutes) to the terminal. Please do not go to the tour bus assembly area. I will be waiting near the exit, holding a sign with your name. For hotel guests, pickup is arranged directly from your hotel or a nearby meeting point, confirmed in advance.
