I have a passion for history and guiding my guests through the unique cities of Esslingen and Stuttgart. I grew up in Michigan and worked in the aerospace and automotive industries as an engineer. Overview of your Stuttgart tour
Our tour begins at the Museum in Stuttgart in Bad Cannstatt, where you will be met by your official and experienced guide for greater Stuttgart area, including the Mercedes Benz Museum. This is the most efficient way to see the best of the car collection (over 160 cars), which will include both museum "routes" - the "Legend Tour", and the "Collection Tour" - featuring the "Pope Mobile", Princess Diana's car and many others. We will also visit the Silver Arrow display, feature Mercedes most prolific racing vehicles. Your guide will show you less-obvious "insiders" features of the collection.
Your Stuttgart tour itinerary
- You will be met by your native-English speaking guide. - An overview of the futuristic and unique architecture of the museum building - We will begin our visit with the very first "horseless carriage" every produced - The tour takes a total of approximately 2 hours, including a stop at the gift shop, WC etc. - Guest may feel free to dine at the restaurant prior to or after the tour. - An option can be provided for Museum tickets (to skip the line) or public transportation.
