Had a wonderful time in Hamburg with our excellent guide Bernd. We had a a group of 4 long time friends, never had visited before, and what an enjoyable time we had. Bernd picked us up promptly at the new cruise terminal, and what a beautiful city. It is incredible how they have developed the city, and have the older buildings and repurposed as newer, but keeping the charm. We had many stops, the town hall building is stunning, and their new Elbphilharmonie building is magnificent. And very impressed with the escalator too. We saw so many neighborhoods, where the Beetles got their start, the beautiful homes there, and the designs of their buildings ands bridges, UNESCO sites for sure. And all the churches, which we were able to visit St. Michel too. Could not have had a better day, and much more to Hamburg than we ever expected. Bernd was an awesome guide and would highly recommend his tour. Way better than the large ship tours. Thank you so very much for an education and seeing the sites of Hamburg. We hope tohave the opportunity to return.
