Hello, my name is Evan and I am a professional and also fun loving guide who enjoys nothing more than exploring new places and meeting new people. I myself am an avid traveller and through this believe to have gained a real insight into what it is that makes a memorable trip into an unforgettable one; and it is this special something which I try to bring into my tours. This, of course, means learning all about Hamburg's rich history and culture but also includes visiting a few secret spots, taking in some breathtaking views and what I particularly love, discussing what it is that makes the Hamburgers tick! Along the way it is always a great pleasure of mine to share one of my great passions with you, being the wonderfully weird German language. Most importantly of all however I also love to allow my enthusiasm for local food and drink spill over into the tour and chat all about Hamburg with you in one of our many local cafes or restaurants. I am very flexible with regards to my tours and all of my tours can be customized to your personal needs and interests. Everyone from hungry sailors to thirsty merchants; they have all had a role to play in creating a fantastic mix of dishes and drinks. From harty beers and traditional eel soup to fine wines and french inspired delicacies, Hamburg has it all. Come and explore the best we have to offer while seeing the famous Speicherstadt, Harbour, Elbphilharmonie and much much more besides.
Evan is professional and knowledgeable. Quick communication. We had a great time with Evan for an afternoon food/culture tour. Cute café with good coffee and delicious apple cake/cheese cake. I also had a chance to try pickled herring on sandwich. As my request, Evan took us to St Nicholas' memorial and City Hall- impressive sites. We stopped by a good restaurant at the end of the tour to try local cuisine. Highly recommended Evan as a tour guide in Hamburg.

Our guide, Evan, gave us a memorable tour! He was fun and very well prepared for the unexpected down pour with umbrellas. Also a phone charger for my phone needing a charge. He also went beyond his call of duty, texting everyone in our party detailed instructions on using the train to get to the T S concert!
Evan was fantastic from start to finish in all ways - communication was great and he tailored the tour especially for our interests, even pivoting along the way during the tour to adjust to things we were interested in. Would highly recommend and I never thought a flower shop would be so much fun or be so interesting!
We left the planning to Evan and he took us around some interesting parts of Hamburg and we tried interesting local food and beer. We can highly recommend Evan as a tourguide because of his huge historical knowledge of German (and European) history, food and culture. The tour will begin by meeting and going to a typical Hamburg bakery from there we will start to explore many of the city's restaurants, bars, cafes and of course brewerys. Each and every dish and drink we will be tasting has it's own unique story to tell which relates to the city and it's history. Not only will we get to see some hidden gems but we will also explore many of the cities most famed locations and even take a short boat trip across main harbour.
