Can you imagine that Marseille is the oldest city of France, more than 2600 years of history! I studied Art and History at the University. Since my childhood I always was curious about the history of my country and I focused my studies on the Heritage of France. You can visit some of the most trendy museums of France in Provence like the Mucem in Marseille (built with contemporary architecture and you can learn all the history of the civilization from the Mediterranean Sea). It is just one example of the numerous monuments that you can see in the South of France. I love fashion, I would be very happy to share with you all the good addresses of small boutiques owned by French designers and crafts shops. You could not visit Provence, without having a glass of rosé in one of the numerous wineries of the area. During your private tour we can visit a cellar and stop there for a wine tasting. I do my best to get you off the beaten path. Provence has a rich heritage; of course you cannot miss the musts of our region, but I will bring you to the local places, not touristy, to enjoy Provence as a «provençal». I'm very flexible and I can customize every tour according to your wishes. Overview of your Marseille tour
During the tour, you will visit 3 villages who are classified as some of the most beautiful villages of France. Ménerbes: From the top of the village you can admire a wonderful panorama of the Vallee du Luberon. We will visit the House of the Truffle and Wine to discover the variety of the wine produced in this area. The famous mistress of Picasso lived in this little place. Roussillon : It owes its name to the reddish colour of its houses. Located in the heart of one of the biggest ocher sites in the world, Roussillon is famous for its magnificent red cliffs and ocher quarries. Gordes : This very beautiful old village is perched on the southern edge of the high Plateau de Vaucluse. It seems to be an unbelievable "stone cascade" : the stone houses are built in tight against the base of the cliffs and others are perched on the rocks above, and all together are topped by a 12th-century which reminds the passer-by of a past rich with conquests but also marked with the sufferings of its inhabitants

Yoann was a wonderful, very flexible guide! The drive was beautiful and the Villages were so unique. We enjoyed the wine tasting and would have loved to have spent more time just wandering around and exploring the cute little shops. Yoann planned an excellent lunch stop for us at a lovely outdoor restaurant.The food was delicious and the view was just superb. We arrived back at our ship in plenty of time. We highly recommend this tour and Yoann!
