Passionate about my job as tour guide, I have been showing for over 6 years to visitors from all over the world our beautiful region called PROVENCE. We have great variety of theme to propose. From wine tasting to lavender fields, to visiting the biggest European canyon called Le Verdon, lets not forget the roman empire buildings. You will be amazed with such diversity! Let me take you to the famous plateau of Valensole where you will be able to enjoy the gorgeous lavender fields as well as pink sage fields. We will stop at a local farm to get introduced to olive oil tasting, almond tasting and smell the different lavender essential oils. I will then take you to Moustier St marie, a lovely nested village in the mountains where you can have lunch as your leisure. This time is yours. We will drive to the turquoise Ste Croix lake for an exceptional view of the Verdon Gorges.
I had 9 exquisite hours with Geraldine. Her knowledge of the area and beyond was superb. We got along splendidly. There was a particular lavender field I wanted to see but I was told the field was no longer being used for lavender so therefore it was difficult to find the site. Geraldine went out of her way to make sure that we found the site and we did. I just felt extremely taken care of. I could not have asked for a better companion for the day.
Nathalie was wonderful! The tour was fabulous as we saw lots of lavender fields, sage, sunflowers and a sprinkle of poppies! Nathalie was a great driver, took pictures of us and much fun to be with. We also went to Moustiers St. Marie which was an absolutely beautiful village and then to Verdon Gorge which was amazing. Nathalie made everything easy and was very flexible. She aimed to please and we were very happy.
Our tour was A-1 as was our wonderful guide Nathalie. She went out of her way to provide us with her personal attention that went above and beyond what could be expected. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to create a memorable experience!
