Hello and welcome to my page! If you are here, it means that you are searching for a nice day trip in Provence. I hope you will find something inspiring for you. Let me introduce myself first, I’m Tom and I have been living in the Aix-en-Provence and Marseille regions for the last 20 years. Since I discovered the south of France, I knew it was “my place”: the sun, the sea, beautiful beaches, picturesque countryside, surprising towns full of contrasts, authentic villages..and of course a very good Mediterranean cuisine, full of colours, good wine, endless aperitifs..a mix of cultures. A certain lightness and joy of living. I started my career in the luxury hospitality sector and after few years I changed from being Sales Director to the Tourism Manager of the local vineyard where I realized that the most important aspects I like in my job are sharing my knowledge about the region and simply having good moments with people. I decided to quit my full-time job and create my own company, of course in accordance with my interests and values. I love simplicity, nature, hiking and being in beautiful authentic sites where I can unwind and connect to myself and to the place I’m visiting. I will be offering the trips I’m used to propose to my family and friends as well! Showing you the authentic Provence but also letting you discover it by yourself. More than a guide, I rather consider myself as the “experiences’ creator”. My goal is to accompany you to live your day more like a local than a tourist. Aside from few unmissable excursions, I want to show you the real Provence, sometimes out of the beaten path: seeing local producers who work with passion and love for their land and their animals, plus the magnificent landscapes as close as possible from our meeting point, because the less time you spend in the car, the more you will feel the surrounding nature and the atmosphere of this inspiring region. People here say “Not too fast in the morning, slowly in the afternoon” and I think indeed that at least during holidays, it is important to slow down. I invite you to experience Provence with me! Have a look into my tours, I have prepared a few options for you! But if you don’t find the one you are looking for, just let me know! It will be a pleasure for me to customize a day for you according to your expectations. See you soon, Tom

During this trip, I want you to discover the authentic Provence off the beaten path. We'll start this day by a real journey to the past. After the death of Jesus, Mary Magdalene moved to Provence and spent her last 33 years in the grotto in the Sainte Baume massif. The place is very inspiring. To totally immerse in this spiritual atmosphere I propose you to hike there by your own and take your time for a better intimate experience. Of course, if you prefer, I can accompany you. You'll discover as well Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, a small coloured Provencal town where you'll have time for shopping, lunch and visit of Mary Magdalene basilica where her skull is preserved. We'll finish the day by the beautiful Sainte Victoire massif where you'll have a nice walk in a little hilltop village or through the wines fields. So if you got the calling or you just simply want to discover the secret places in Provence on Mary Magdalene's path, don't hesitate to book this trip!
-After picking you up, we'll drive through Sainte Baume massif, where we'll make few stops to admire the beautiful Provencal landscapes. -Next, we'll arrive to the Hostellerie Sainte-Baume, you'll take the trail to get to the Mary Magdalene's grotto (45 min walk under the shade of old oaks of this untouched primary Provencal drill). -Once you arrive, take your time in this mystic place, pray or just admire the grotto and the amazing view. -After that, we'll move to Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume : free time for shopping, lunch and visit of the Mary Magdalene's basilica with her tomb. -We'll continue our way through the Sainte Victoire vines valley and have a stop there in a small authentic village away from hustle and bustle of tourism. You can also have a little walk in the vines fields. -At last, we'll head back to your hôtel for the end of our tour.
