Aix en Provence and Paul Cézanne private guided tour

Olivier was a wonderful tour guide for me on three days that he took me to Le Luberon, Orange and the wine country of Chateauneuf des Papes and an insiders view of Marseilles and environs. Olivier is comfortable in both French and English and was very adaptable to my interests. He is deeply knowledgeable in that part of the world and eager to share his enthusiasm and knowledge. We met artists, winemakers and local owners of restaurants in small villages. We were not rushed and I felt that I was able to see and appreciate Provence through a local’s eyes and experience. In addition, he is a warm and interesting conversationalist. I highly recommend him for private tours of this rich part of France.

Oliver is the best in the business! If we could give him 10 stars we would! Oliver was an amazing guide full of great knowledge, but best of all he catered the entire tour to what we were specifically looking to see and do. He even went over and above to help us find the missing souvenir we were searching for.

Given the timing of our ships arrival and departure we gave Olivier athesignificant challenge to show us the highlights of Aix en Provence in a limited time, he did not disappoint. We were a party of four that were treated to fabulous French hospitality and in-depth knowledge of the region; we had a fun filled, interesting and entertaining day. Thanks to our fabulous host. The tour guide was acceptable. I did not find he had a thorough knowledge of history, but took us to the main attractions. Tour guide was on time, very reliable.

Olivier was professional and engaging. He had excellent communication skills. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour and worked hard to meet our expectations.
