Dubbed the pearl of orient, Shanghai is considered the epitome of modern China, a place where east meets west. It is the very place to see the future of China. The tour includes Jade Buddha Temple ( a place to learn a local religion),the Yuyuan Garden area(the most traditional attraction in the city), the Shanghai Tower (the tallest building in China ) , the former French Concession( knowing about the semi-colonial history of Shanghai), the Bund area (dubbed the Wall Street in the Far East in the mid-20th century) and Zhujiajiao Ancient Canal Town (dubbed the Venice of Shanghai).
Liam is an excellent guide and also a super nice person. We had great two days in Shanghai, accompanied by Liam. He's a very knowledgeable, passionate guide who will make sure your stay in Shanghai will be great. Also, he kindly assisted us with finding a clinic to get a PCR test done, which we wouldn't be able to do without him. Can't recommend him enough!!!
We went to Suzhou and Zhujiajiao. Enjoyed our tour very much. Liam set up everything. Transportation, lunch and tour of the gardens and the canal boat rides.
Beyond our expectations! What a great experience it was traveling around with Liam Liu. He is a great guide who kept the pace according to us and where we showed our interest and considered many factors into where we would go and the time of day to avoid traffic, crowds, and we lucked out on the rain. We especially liked the Confucius Temple and the Temple of the Emerald Buddhas very much. The views from the Bund at dusk were great and coffee at the Peace Hotel was a great way to end our time together.
Liam was an excellent guide who took care of all my needs. He is very knowledgeable about Chinese history and he made sure I appreciated the value of Chinese culture. He was thoughtful, caring and accommodating......he even recommended areas to explore by myself. His English is flawless and has a is constantly cheerful I highly recommend him.
