Greetings! My name is Michael, and I'm a passionate and experienced tour guide based in the dynamic city of Shanghai. As a graduate of the Shanghai Institute of Tourism, I've spent my career sharing the beauty and stories of this incredible city with travelers from all over the world. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, I'm dedicated to providing a personalized and unforgettable experience. My love for what I do comes through in every tour, and I take pride in treating every customer—from VIPs to solo adventurers—with the same care and enthusiasm. I specialize in creating bespoke, private tours that are tailored to your interests and pace. Over the past 25 years, I have honed my skills in hospitality and customer service, including extensive experience with shore excursions for the last two and a half years. My tours are always designed as private experiences to ensure you get the most out of your time in Shanghai, and I never combine groups. For your convenience, I can also arrange private transportation through my network of reliable contacts.

Songjiang is the oldest area in Shanghai. Before the port opened, Shanghai was just a county in its eastern suburbs, while Songjiang was the only prefecture-level administrative unit at that time. Geographically, it has the "Nine Peaks and Three Marshes". Sheshan, the highest of the Nine Peaks, is home to the largest Catholic church in East China——Sheshan Our Lady Cathedral, and China’s only "Via Dolorosa" (with 14 pavilions at 14 turns). It is one of the major pilgrimage sites for Catholics around the world. In southern Songjiang, is the source of the Huangpu River. Here stands the "Head of Huangpu River" Park, where you can enjoy river views and historical bronze carvings. Inside Songjiang, there is Zuibai Garden, Fangta Garden, as well as Shanghai’s oldest surviving Catholic church ruins and mosque—both still in use. At the end of the trip, visit Thames Town in Songjiang. Experiencing the magical "time travel" from ancient China to Britain in just 15 minutes.
