Greetings! My name is Michael, and I'm a passionate and experienced tour guide based in the dynamic city of Shanghai. As a graduate of the Shanghai Institute of Tourism, I've spent my career sharing the beauty and stories of this incredible city with travelers from all over the world. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, I'm dedicated to providing a personalized and unforgettable experience. My love for what I do comes through in every tour, and I take pride in treating every customer—from VIPs to solo adventurers—with the same care and enthusiasm. I specialize in creating bespoke, private tours that are tailored to your interests and pace. Over the past 25 years, I have honed my skills in hospitality and customer service, including extensive experience with shore excursions for the last two and a half years. My tours are always designed as private experiences to ensure you get the most out of your time in Shanghai, and I never combine groups. For your convenience, I can also arrange private transportation through my network of reliable contacts.

Jiading is a district in northwestern Shanghai. In 1218, Emperor Ningzong merged local villages and towns into a county, naming it "Jiading" after his reign title – a name that means "a beautiful land blessed with stability". It is home to three of Shanghai’s five classical gardens, and two of them – Qiuxiapu Garden and Huilongtan Park – are part of this trip. Jiading Confucian Temple, the largest county-level official academic institution in the Shanghai, also stands here. This temple was built by imperial order of Emperor Ningzong himself. Zhouqiao Old Street is the heart of the ancient town. On the street stands Lotus Sutra Pagoda; under the pagoda, there is Wellington Koo Memorial and a Bamboo Carving Museum. Jiading is the birthplace of the world-famous Shanghai Soup Dumpling. In 2007, China’s largest Automobile Museum was also completed here. The full-day itinerary will come to a perfect end amid the charming night scenery of Nanxiang Ancient Town
