Overview of your Shanghai tour
Nanbei Lake, located 145 kilometers southwest of Shanghai, serves as an excellent alternative to West Lake. Though its area is only one-third that of West Lake, its water shape is nearly identical. Moreover, it is closer to Shanghai, free from traffic congestion woes, and far less crowded—offering a much quieter and more comfortable visiting experience compared to the bustling West Lake. On our way to Nanbei Lake, we will first visit Moshi Manor, a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level. At the end of the itinerary, as the lights come on at dusk, we will arrive at Xitang Ancient Town—known as the most beautiful waterfront town in Jiangnan at night. After getting used to the dazzling night views of big cities, you can immerse yourself in the charming allure of the waterfront town at night and experience its unique simplicity and romance.
