Juyongguan Great Wall and Ming Tombs Tour - Sacred Path

Together we'll discover two impressive heritage sights named Juyongguan Great Wall and Ming Tombs.Juyongguan Great Wall was first built in 1535 Ming dynasty. Do you know what's unique about the wall? It is circular in shape! The Ming tombs are called 13 Ming tombs in Chinese, there are two tombs open to the public, the Everlasting tomb or the tomb of Security and Changling tomb is for the third emperor Yongle of Ming dynasty. Ling En Hall is the biggest & best preserved NanMu Hall remained in China. Dingling is the only tomb that the underground palace was excavated. The sacred way was built in front of the tombs, there are 36 stone sculptures were put on this path, 12 human figures and 24 animals, they use for guards of the tombs. During the tour, I'll tell you the stories how we found the entrance of the underground palace in Dingling, share the emperor's personal life in Ming dynasty and so on!

- We will meet at the hotel and drive about 1. 5 hours to visit the Juyongguan Great Wall, you will have about 2 hours at the Wall and then find a local restaurant close to the tombs. - Drive about 30 mins to the tomb area, visit one of the tombs and Sacred Way in the afternoon. We will walk on the Sacred way to see the stone sculptures for about 30-40 mins, then drive 15 mins to the tomb, visit one Tomb (Changling or Dingling ) for about one hour, - Finally drive 1. 5 hours (depends on the traffic) get back to the hotel in the city.
