My name is Nik. I love Toronto’s outdoor adventures and interesting buildings and gems around the city! I have been in and out of Toronto since 2016. Coming from cultrue where sport is deeply ingrained in one's lifestyle, my favourite activities by far are biking around the parks and SUPping the lake! During the summer, Toronto is an absolutely fantastic place for adventures, and the views of the city from the lake are abolutely stunning. This is also the time of festivals and many concerts, and I am always trying to stay informed about what events are held in town. Before becoming a Torontonian, have lived mostly in Europe and shortly in New Zealand. I am raised in Prague. I also lived in Lisbon and Sofia and for the last decade I have been teaching skiing and guiding in the Swiss Alps. In case I am not chasing an adventure, I work in tech and finance. I try to stay outdoors as much as possible to compensate for the hours spent in front of screens. Since being in high school, I have been almost always working part-time in the tourist sector, so it is now 2 decades since I have been delivering some sort of experience to visitors of either Prague, the Swiss Alps, or also some other places such as Whistler, Canada or Wanaka, New Zealand. I have worked with people from all over the world and dare to say you will be with a very experienced guide on your tour. Nevertheless, a guide who is always looking to learn and improve. Being a passionate nature lover, I am eager to deliver some adventure-packed experiences combined with city highlights! If you like to stay fit, while exploring both man made and natural wonders of Toronto, then I am the right person to tour with!

On this tour we will make sure you are on track with staying fit and energetic and most importantly feed your adventurous spirit! We will explore one of Toronto's best gems and one of my all-time favourite places to visit, which is the Toronto Islands! We will also have the possibility to visit some of Toronto's highlights that are in the nearby area, which are the CN Tower, Rogers Centre or Ripley's Aquarium. The islands are a very special place since they do not allow any cars and compared to downtown Toronto, this is a place of absolute peace and tranquillity. If you are a bird and animal lover, then you might be able to spot some of Toronto Islands' habitat, such as Canada Geese, Swans, Cormorants, Red-Winged Blackbirds, Cardinals, Beavers, Deer, Squirrels and Monarch butterflies. If you are a passionate marine adventurer, we will have the possibility to rent SUP board or a kayak for exploring the calm waters of the lagoon with some stunning city views.
We meet at Jack Laytons Ferry Ferry Terminal. We perfectly like to head toward Ward's island with the ferry. On the island we start off with 10 min walk toward the SUP rental. You get to choose between a SUP board or a Kayak, and we get to explore the waters and the local bird habitat and see some majestic views of the city skyline. After our water adventure, we will head to the bike rental and start our land tour of the island, exploring the local houses and the beaches. After the island tour we head back to the city to see and possibly tour CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium or Rogers Centre. The itinerary is fully adjustable to your preferences, and my highest priority will be to tailor it to your best satisfaction and fitness level. * I reccomend bringing swimsuit, comfortable clothing and shoes, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and potentially a dry bag for keeping your belongings dry during water activities.

We will take a ferry to the islands. On the Islands we have the option to rent bikes, SUP, or kayaks. The walking method will be an option as well. Please note kids rentals might be limited to their age group.

If you need pick-up from any other location, message me for a quote. Our meeting point will be at Jack Laytons Ferry Terminal and I will be waiting next to Jack's statue which is located in front of the ticket desk. It is a bronze statue of a man riding a bike, naturally. The ferry terminal is close to the corner of Bay street and Queens Quay West, the closest metro station is Union station which is roughly 10 min far by walk.
