Only one word comes to mind when time comes to describe myself: passion! I've been active as a guide since 1990, and this job has led me all over North America. It also brought me to enjoy some wonderful experiences that made me who I am today! The fact that I've worked with various different clientele. brought me to adapt to all kinds of situations, while always keeping everyone's interest and attention! Whether I work with students, adults, families, singles or groups, I love to bring people to truly experience beautiful Quebec City by having them travel through their own mind! The Quebec City region has a lot to offer visitors and this is what I constantly try to convey to them, no matter where they are from! I am a licensed Quebec City tour guide.

Follow me off the beaten paths and be charmed by Old Quebec, the only walled city in North America. The description of local history will let you relive 400 years of action-packed history! You will be impressed by this UNESCO World Heritage site where fine old buildings and proud monuments line winding streets and picturesque places. At the conclusion of our tour, you can continue to explore on your own or stop and one of the many fine restaurants in le Vieux-Québec.

Our tour with Steeve exceeded our expectations. He was wonderful. Very accommodating, knowledgeable and thoughtful. He tailored the day to our interests and schedule. He picked us up right at the cruise port, took us to special sites we never would have seen, shared so much history and interesting information about Quebec City, treated us to farm fresh strawberries and chocolate blue berries and was a nice person and guide! Highly recommend a tour with Steeve.
Steeve shared his expert knowledge about Quebec and the surrounding area during a tour with me and my grandsons, ages 11 and 16. In addition to the usual highlights, Steeve took us to a few special places I requested related to ancestors who settled there long ago. He covered the perfect amount of history and culture while keeping it interesting for the boys. Steeve also pointed out good places to shop and a great restaurant where we had lunch after the tour. We loved the goat milk ice cream! We had only one day in Quebec, and this tour was the perfect way to see the highlights and get a good feel for the spirit of the city within such a limited time. I would highly recommend Steeve to anyone who wants to experience the city in a fun and interesting way. He is a great choice for a family with kids. We hope to come back some day for the music festival and the toboggan slide!
Great tour with Steeve! Very knowledgable with the history and Quebec City. Helped us with planning the day after the tour with him by giving suggestions as we went along. We had no plan beyond the tour with him so this was great to give everyone in the group some ideas and helped us have a great day/night. It was December and very cold. Did a great job getting us inside to warm up as we went along. Overall a great person to take a tour with - would suggest him to anyone i know going to the area.
Steeve Gaudreault is a superb guide, a fun person, and a person very sensitive to the goals of the person booking his tour. He loves Quebec City and explains in detail both the history and contemporary issues of the city. He has a mastery of all the subjects that a visitor might question and he delivers his answers carefully and completely. He will tailor the visit if you ask. His tour is anything but rote. His curiosity about the city and his willingness to explore is infectious. He has a real interest in the visitor and it shows. We have the highest respect for him as a tour guide and person. Highly, highly recommended.
Steeve was absolutely great. He was so knowledgeable and geared his information to our level (we just finished a Canada cruise) so he was not repeating what we knew. He spoke about history, architecture, and culture according to our desires. He showed where to eat, shop. And he was accommodating to our disdain for the cold. If we could give 6 stars we would.
Our day and the time we start the tour is flexible and is meant to accommodate your schedule and interests. Along the way we shall see: The National Assembly and Parliament hill Battlefields Park The Citadel Château Frontenac Place Royale and Petit-Champlain Street Notre-Dame-de-Québec Basilica/Cathedral Place d'Armes A stop will also be made at Place Royale, the cradle of French civilisation in North America, in the heart of the old Lower Town along the St. Lawrence river-front.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
This is a walking tour. We may take the funicular from lower Quebec if climbing is a problem.
