Let’s start the day discovering Old Quebec. We'll stroll around Place Royale, Cradle of French Civilization, and its narrow streets to uncover the secrets of this wonderful UNESCO World Heritage site. I'll make history come alive with anecdotes about people and landmarks we’ll see, such as Chateau Frontenac, Notre-Dame, and Battlefields Park. This part of the tour is mostly by walk. After, we'll get the car. The journey will also let you feel and taste the superb Isle of Orleans, a designated historical district. This “Enchanting Island” will charm you with its scenery and heritage. We’ll stop at lovely family places to savour the island’s bounty and sample fresh products — wine, chocolate, and more. On our way back, we’ll stop at splendid Montmorency Falls, 1.5 times higher than Niagara, to enjoy a scenic view of the St. Lawrence River.
Our day is flexible and is meant to accommodate your schedule and interests. Along the way we shall see: The Old Quebec (walled city) The National Assembly and Parliament hill Battlefields Park and Citadel Notre-Dame-de-Québec Basilica And much more! We will also discover Place Royale, the cradle of French civilization in North America, with a gentle walk in the heart of the old lower town. (if you wish and are in good shape, we can continue by walk in the old city, then get the car). After the city tour, we will continue with some sightseeing on the Island of Orleans. Including a 1 hour stop for lunch at an authentic family orchards on the Island or similar depending of your choice (lunch not included). Then we will stroll around the island for some sample tastings at family-owned ciderplace, blackcurrant production, wine or homemade family chocolate / ice cream factory A stop will also be made at waterfalls Montmorency to enjoy a breathtaking view on the city, river and island.

This is mostly a vehicle tour, but there is a little bit of gentle walking involved. The car is a SUV style KIA Sorrento, good for 3 or 4 people. If you wish to be 4, Make sure everyone is comfortable in that type of car (3 in a row). If not, you can pay an extra 150$us for 4 people, to have a bigger rental car 7 passengers (style Pacifica or Volks Atlas).
