Marie was awesome! She is obviously very proud to be a Québécoise and is very proud of her hometown of Quebec City. She is very knowledgeable about the history of both Quebec, in general, and Quebec City. We were a small group of two couples. She is fluent in English and we all learned a ton of interesting information we did not know before. As Americans, we weren't sure how we would be received by Canadians given the current political friction between the two countries. We were amazed by how friendly and welcoming all of the Canadian people we met were towards us. Marie was no different. When I asked her how she felt about some of things a certain American leader has said and done, she just smiled and said, "We just want Americans to come and visit our country!" Marie has a great sense of humor and kept us thoroughly entertained for the entire three hours. I would recommend her without hesitation!
