I love my profession and grateful to meet great people all the time . I have been making a living out of it since my first year , so for me this is not a second career but a great way to make a living! I also work with middle school students in French immersion from the West coast of Canada and the United States . You know that keeps me on my toes and young at heart . I don't take life too seriously and you are on vacation after all. So doing a tour with me is taking things lightly and to your pace as you learn all about my wonderful city, its history and sometimes , funny stories ! Being of French, yep one of the three hundred founding families of Canada, and Irish descendants you know I like to have fun and laugh! Take a tour with me and learn about our history , our language, and our way of life ! So see you soon ! This tour is a wonderful walking tour around the old city. Part of Unesco's world heritage list we will see 400 years of history together . . We walk in the footsteps of Samuel de Champlain, Frontenac , the Ursuline nuns and many more! But lets not forget our past but make sure we talk about the present how we live, our distinct culture, and yes how we survive winter !! Travel and Leisure voted us best destination in Canada 3 years in a row. Petit-Champlain street was vote by architectural design . . most beautiful street in the world come with me and see why! This is a slow paced walking tour available to everyone and stops if needed, I will adjust to your needs. We will take to funicular from the lower part of town to the upper part of town or vice versa. If going down a hill is fine we can also do that depending on the starting point. Please contact me with any questions or to customize a tour for you.

My friend Jerry and I made a detour North from Vermont specifically to visit the UNESCO site of Old Quebec during our travels through the US. The weather was quite fickle that morning and it quickly went from mildly warm to blustery with a bit of rain. Luckily it blew past as fast as it arrived leaving us with good walking-tour weather. We met up with Marie, a native of Quebec, as well as a well established guide, did an excellent job providing history, and interesting tidbits you might not get with most tours while keeping us laughing the entire time during the 3-hour tour through Old Quebec. The French Canadians were very welcoming and laid back. I was impressed with the overall ease of touring this popular area, especially with the HUGE summer music festival getting ready to light up another night with top name bands of all genres throughout the area. Marie took her time with us, hitting all the points of interest as she expertly navigated us around the city while making sure we arrived at our boarding location just in time to enjoy our afternoon river cruise. Thank you Marie for your hospitality and a job well done. I have to add Quebec City to one of my favorite places I have visited in the world. European flaire with lovely people, clean, amazing history and absolutely beautifu
Ours was a family group from 8 years to 80+ years. Michelle did a wonderful tour for our enjoyment. We learned a lot about Quebec and the many sites we visited without ever being rushed. We highly recommend Michelle as your tour guide in Quebec City.
Marie was an excellent guide, knowledgeable, funny and helped us try out our fledgling knowledge of French. She tailored the tour to our desires and left us with a greater sense of Quebec City and a list of things to do that inspired us. Highly recommended
We had such an amazing tour with Marie Michelle T!! She was so knowledgeable and interesting with a clear love for Quebec City, and her humour and warmth made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Marie Michelle got our holiday off to an awesome start! Merci beaucoup, Marie Michelle!! :)
Marie Michelle was an absolute pleasure! We started our tour early on a brisk morning and she took us to a nearby coffee shop for a warm beverage to accompany our walk. She took the time to understand our interests and what parts of the city we had already seen, then customized our tour accordingly. She knows the city so well and shares great insights on the major attractions as well as a few fun lesser known sites. She is fun, energetic, and very proud of her city. Highly recommend!
The walk is slow paced and leisurely, you are on vacation but the nonetheless we will see plenty since Québec is a small city. - Place Royale - La rue de Petit-champlain - Funiculaire - Château Frontenac - Dufferin Terrasse - Place d'Arme - Rue du Trésor - Basilique Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Québec - Holy trinity Cathedral - Ursulines monestary etc. **some churches might be closed or have an extra fee on that day of the tour due to covid or lack of personel
