Very warm welcome in beautiful and historic city of Québec. I am an active guide since 2012, and have guided small and big groups in English, German and French. Enthusiastic and passionate with a sense of humor, I have a very good knowledge of history and geography. I can talk about these subjects and be entertaining. I have been living in the city for 50 years, therefore I can say a lot about everyday living in the city and the area. I like to talk about history when it can explain the events that follow, the dates of events are important only when put in a chronological context. I think guiding should be a learning experience as well as entertaining. At the end of a tour, the people I guide have a better understanding of the city, the province of Quebec and Canada and had a good time. I communicate very well both ways: talking and listening, therefore the tours listed can be custom tailored to your specific needs and expectations. Please contact me before the tours for proposed modifications, if any. I look forward to show you my wonderful city and its surroundings. B. Sc from the Université de Montréal. I am a licensed guide of the city of Québec since 2012. Member of the Historical society of Québec. Member of the Guide's association of the city of Québec. Additional university courses in Economics, History and Languages. No restrictions.

Québec is a jewel of world heritage surrounded by natural beauty. With this tour, we see it all ! We start with the jewel of world heritage: the historical lower and upper town. Then we ride on the Plains of Abraham, site of the historical battle that won over New France to the British Empire, visit places well liked by the Quebecers , but not so well known by tourists. And then, the icing on the cake: the beautiful surroundings. Since there is a lot to see, I suggest that we start off with the highest falls in eastern Canada (higher even than the Niagara Falls) the Montmorency Falls, beautiful even in winter! Then we can cross over to bucolic and historical Orleans Island. Once there, you have an option of visiting family wineries, cider producers or black currant wine farms. Back on the mainland, there is an option between the pilgrimage site of Sainte-Anne de Beaupré or the waterfalls of the canyon of the Sainte-Anne River. A wonderful day!!
Like every tour I guide, the itinerary is tailored to your preferences. The order is a suggestion. We have a more intimate contact with the historical lower and upper town in the morning. Then we can go before the parliament building and on to the plains of Abraham. We also see: Typical and well liked but not so well known areas of Québec, such as Montcalm and Sillery districts. We then drive east to visit: -Montmorency Falls -Orleans Island -Beaupré coast and Sainte-Anne de Beaupré basilica Time permitting, the spectacular waterfalls thru the Sainte Anne river canyon.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
We will be driving from site to site except in the historical Old town where we will be walking. I own an air conditioned 2019 Subaru Outback.
