·We will start the tour by exploring Place Royale, where the city was founded, as well as the Royal Battery and the surrounding area. ·Then, we’ll take the funicular up to Upper Town, the true seat of political power. ·Next, we’ll discover Montmorency Park, the former site of the Parliament, as well as Dufferin Terrace and Place d’Armes, long considered the heart of the colonial power. ·We’ll continue by admiring Governors’ Park, the U.S. Consulate, and Quebec’s Ministry of Finance. ·From there, we’ll walk up Saint-Louis Street to the Citadel, an active military base, before heading to Parliament Hill. ·We’ll then take a moment to appreciate the Parliament Building (part of the larger parliamentary complex), as its facade is adorned with sculptures of key figures in Quebec and Canadian history. ·The tour will conclude with a visit to the Anglican and Catholic cathedrals, the Séminaire de Québec, City Hall, and the Price Building, where the official residence of the Premier of Quebec is located.
