Step into history with this unforgettable journey across Old Quebec! With several historical landmarks, this is a true adventure through time. This tour spans 2.5 to 3 miles, but some stops along our path will allow you to rest whenever needed! Also, to make the climb from Lower Town to Upper Town easier, we can take the funicular. This being a private tour, I’ll take the time to understand what excites you and be sure to cover any topics you'd like to explore further. Contact me to discuss any variation you may want. I'd be happy to create a custom itinerary just for you, based on your own interests, preferences and ability to walk in an old city with many stairs & slopes. I could adjust the route, duration & pace, ensuring breaks to guarantee an enjoyable experience as well as unforgettable memories. Of course, the sites we see can also take into account what you may have already seen on your own, or if this is your first tour of Quebec, I'll be happy to advise you!
·First, we'll explore Place Royale, the historic site where Samuel de Champlain founded the city in 1608, and we'll check out the Quebecers' Mural. ·We'll then wander through the charming Petit Champlain district, filled with cobblestone streets & boutiques. ·Later, we'll stroll along the Dufferin Terrace, offering breathtaking views of St. Lawrence River & the iconic Château Frontenac. ·Next, we'll pass by the U.S. Consulate before visiting the historic Ursuline Monastery. ·Afterwards, we will discover the star-shaped design of the Citadel, part of the fortifications surrounding the city, after passing close to the Garrison Club. ·We'll then admire the grand Parliament Building before walking by the Morrin Center. ·Later, we'll marvel at the stunning architecture of Holy Trinity Cathedral, City Hall, and the Notre-Dame Basilica-Cathedral. ·We'll conclude the tour at the Séminaire de Québec, a testament to the city's rich religious heritage.
