A good time to visit Quebec City is end of May and June, it's not too hot and not crowded. It is possible to do a Young Family Tour with a maximum of two young children + 2 adults. Overview of your Quebec City tour
During this 3-hour Walking Tour you will see several amazing places inside the Fortified Wall. My interpretation will help you relive the life of the French people in the 1600's, the British settlers at the end of the 1700's and also the Quebecers, both in the Upper and Lower Town. Please note that the Old Town is the only Fortified City in Canada whose walls still exist. It is considered as "a World Heritage site by Unesco since 1985." Quebec City is truly the beginning of French Civilisation in North America. We will walk at a slow pace in the narrow streets of Historical Lower Town so you will have the chance to see where Canada was founded in 1608, and hear about 417 years of History. You will appreciate the two and three story stone homesteads having wide chimneys and gable roofs, the site where the founder of Quebec, Samuel de Champlain, built his house. You will enjoy hearing about Petit Champlain Street and the historical figures of two magnificent wall paintings.
