The perfect shore excursion, a trip around Île d'Orléans is a delightful way to discover the surrounding countryside. Enough of the city, come with me! We will stroll around the island to admire its charming villages, with its historic farms, churches, and heritage homes, vineyards… Looking at the landscapes and farm stalls lining the route is half the fun as we will make our way from one quaint village to the next. Memories of picturesque scenery and french music. . . In season, smell the island's famous strawberries and apples! On our road, we will stop to 2 different places to taste the local products and meet the locals. Cider, wine or homemade family chocolate place will make you happy ! We will also make a stop to take a picture of the Montmorency Falls, 1 ½ time higher than Niagara Falls. You will feel the full force—and spray—of the falls for yourself. We will be back in town 3 hours later, just in time to enjoy the city at your pace!
Shadya did a fantastic job. We were lucky to get someone who trains guides! She is super knowledgeable, very friendly and is flexible with minor adjustments as my mom can’t walk very far or up hill. I would highly recommend her for your Quebec City guide.
If i could give Shadya 10 stars, I would. This was an amazing tour. She was so knowledgeable and took us to the chocolate store, the falls and a currant farm where you can taste liquors and jams, etc. The scenery was beautiful and everything was made even better by Shadya! Highly recommend!
Lovely tour of the falls and Ile d'Orleans. Shadya was great -- lots of information and stories and when we mentioned that we had not really seen the upper part of Quebec City she easily re-arranged the end of the tour to show us that as well. Great time and wholeheartedly recommended to others!
It doesn't get any better. For two 80 yo and their 14 yo granddaughter, this ended up being the perfect tour of the countryside with the perfect guide: Shadya. She has a wonderful personality, years of experience, and an amazing ability to make every part of the tour interesting and enjoyable.. She took time at the beginning to find out what we were interested in and then rearranged the tour's time allocation perfectly. We spent more time at Montmorency Falls than we had originally planned.....all for the better. We wouldn't change a thing about the different parts of the falls we explored and loved the insights Shadya provided. The last part of the tour was a trip to the Isle d'Orleans where we spent time learning about and enjoying the island, and partaking in local Strawberries and chocolate at two different stands. A perfect way to end our vacation.
Shadya K arrived on time with a roomy SUV. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had a lovely tour of Ile d'Orleans. Beautiful farms and vineyards. Wine and chocolate tastings. Shadya has a wonderful personality. You will be treated like family. She speaks perfect English and French. You will be happy with her!!
