Let me introduce myself, I am a people-oriented and resourceful person, born in the magnificent Quebec City. I studied in a private college and I obtained a Quebec Diploma of College Studies in Tourism. I am a Historical Tour Guide who has many years of experience. A good time to visit Quebec City is end of May and June, it's not too hot and not crowded. Overview of your Quebec City tour

This 3-hour, Private Walking Tour provides an interesting perspective of Old Quebec. End of May and June are very good times to visit Old Quebec because the city is not crowded and it's not hot. While recounting short anecdotes , you will enjoy hearing about the daily lives of our ancestors and how the city has evolved. You will appreciate Old Quebec historical and romantic aspects as the 18-century houses and the prestigious Château Frontenac. You will enjoy the breathtaking view on a Terrace ! As we walk in the narrow streets of Historical Lower Town (Place Royale) you will have the chance to see where Canada was founded in 1608, and hear my interpretation regarding 417 years of History. You will appreciate the historical figures of two magnificent wall paintings. If you have a Walking Issue, please tell me before the tour, this way I will have time to plan a different itinerary.

Our walking tour of Quebec City Diane was perfect. She is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Quebec City. Her presentation is very animated and interesting. She covered not just the usual about when buildings were erected or which historical figure was important here, but interesting tidbits like why a particular building is shaped in a particular manner as well. Her familiarity with the city was a very big plus for me as I use a wheelchair. This very hilly City can be a challenge, but Diane was able to find various pathways that were far less steep so that we can weave around the various streets in the city and still see everything! We highly recommend her.
