I love getting out and about in my city of Melbourne. I love classic cars - finding them, restoring them, driving them and sharing them. I love meeting people - from all walks of life. And I love the prospect of creating individual tour and travel experiences that combine all of these things! Having travelled a good deal overseas, nationally, interstate and regionally I have come to appreciate the difference that local knowledge and a unique perspective via private touring can give to a holiday or celebration experience - and I have been developing my skills as an operator now for several years . . . changing hats from being a customer to becoming a host. :) By way of background, I strive to enjoy a world full of meaning, value, joy, humour and richness through the things I do and the people I spend time with . . . and this goes to being in the outdoors; enjoying a good meal and nice wine (also whisky after hours); discussing the ways (good and bad) of the world; staring up at the sky or out at the ocean; hanging about with my family, friends and neighbours; or simply reading the newspaper or a decent book. And, of course, finding a little time each week to have a wrench in my hand! My aim is to provide interesting, unique, relaxed (cruise), fun and informative experiences for my guests. I look forward to seeing you on the road!

Wine, dairy, food, chocolate, brewery cider and ales, gin … and much more! The picturesque Yarra Valley is a short drive east of Melbourne and is probably the most popular getaway destination from the city and suburbs. It is known primarily as wine territory, with more than 50 vineyards and wineries listed in the area, but there is so much to do and enjoy on top of this … all from the comfort, coolness, and curiosity factor of one of our classic Chevrolets. Your party of four can be collected from city hotels or a Carlton café for a private tour driven by your host, John F. – a local Chevrolet enthusiast and drive-to location expert. Enjoy delightful rural scenery, cool old-school music, curated stops, and visits, photo opportunities, the experience of cruising in a big ol' American car, a good bit of chit chat and the general feeling of being looked after with courtesy, attention, and style – all while managing to stay clear of the crowds.
A typical 'Yarra Valley' tour can include selections from: > CBD/Carlton pick-up > Eastern Freeway > Wonga Park rural back roads > Wine tasting options from a range of famous Yarra Valley wineries > Morning coffee (with traditional scones) > Four Pillars Gin distillery – tasting paddles, refreshments, platter foods > Bubbly – because one can develop a thirst! > Maroondah Reservoir Park (gardens and walk) > Healesville township (drive through or walk-around) – with various lunch options > Chocolaterie and ice creamery > Yarra Valley Dairy – cheese tasting, café and local 'artisan' food produce store > CBD/Carlton return And really, with so many options available the combinations for tours are endless! Tour length generally allows for three to five 30-40 minute visit stops within the Yarra Valley in addition to the scenic travel time before, during and via return. Some options change according to days of travel. Yes, please contact for extended 'maxi day' duration as well as custom tour itineraries.
