Merhaba!(Hi!) I am Mehmet Isik. I'm 55. I'm an experienced, licensed tour guide and driver. I have been working in tourism since 1992. In 2014, I upgraded my tour guide licence and I am now able to do tours in these regions of Turkey:- Mediterranean, the Black Sea, Central Anatolia, East Anatolia and South East Anatolia.

I have lived in Antalya for more than ten years, but I was born in Adana. I joined ToursByLocals in 2013. I'd like to welcome you to Antalya and show you this beautiful area of my country.

I look forward to taking you to special places where you can enjoy the history, culture, atmosphere, delicious food and glorious landscapes that the Mediterranean region has to offer.

I know that hiring a private guide, such as myself, is more expensive than sitting on a bus with 50 people, but it is a far better experience. You'll see more, do more and have an experience tailored to your interests and needs.

See how the urban meets nature and discover all the secrets in Antalya.  Lets start the day at the Lower Duden waterfall which cascades down the cliffs creating beautiful rainbows into the sea. View the coastline and distant mountains. 
We'll explore this city by strolling through the historic old town (Kaleici).  We will see ancient Ottoman, Selcuk and Roman buildings, city walls, Hadrian's Gate, minarets, clock tower and the marina. As a local experienced guide who lives near the old town, I am ready to share all my knowledge of this wonderful place and turn this day into an unforgettable one. 
Let's have lunch in  Kaleici or the Marina to relax next to the sea. There are several excellent restaurants to choose from. 
Alternatively we can visit another spectacular waterfall, Upper Duden, which is a natural park area and have a lunch in a wonderful restaurant right next to the falls.

Antalya Full Day City and Waterfalls Shore Excursion

An early start is necessary for this full day tour to Alanya:
- to see the historic Red Tower, considered to be the symbol of Alanya.
- to visit the medieval Castle, 250m above sea level
- to go underground to Damlatas Cave, where high levels of CO2 are supposed to be helpful for people who have non allergy based asthma
Then a relaxing lunch at Dim River - a restaurant in the river (really!). (see photo) You can put your feet in the water while you eat - the water is 10 degrees. The restaurant specializes in freshly caught fish or you can choose grilled meat - all served with fresh salads.
In the afternoon - optional - you can choose whether to take time for swimming in the river or just relaxing at Dimcayi or whether to go on to Dim Cave.
Dim Cave is believed to be a million years old - it is 12km east of Alanya and on the slope of a mountain.

In this tour, we will visit Lower Duden Waterfall which cascades down the cliffs into the sea and hopefully see rainbows when it meets the sea. Let's get into the historic Old Town (Kaleici) with its Ottoman houses, ancient buildings, city walls, Clock Tower, Minarets and Marina. I live near the old town, so I can share all the secrets and knowledge of this wonderful place with you.

We can then go on a boat tour to relax on the sea before having lunch at my favorite restaurant overlooking the sea - specialized in seafood and meat. I am certain you will definitely agree with me! They also have a selection of fine Turkish wines. We can relax here and admire the beautiful scenery - the sea, yachts and distant mountains.

The Archeological Museum has 13 exhibition halls and an open-air gallery. I believe this is one of the best museums in Turkey and I know everything about it, so let a local passionate expert show you the secrets of this amazing city. Come explore Antalya with me!
