Tour guide in Antalya Ismet S.

Hello and greetings from Antalya. My name is Ismet and was born in Antalya in 1977. I am already working as a tour guide for more than 20 years and as an english teacher I will be always pleased to introduce my hometown to you with it's historical background. I guided to various people from USA till Japan, and as a teacher I can easily find a common language with many people. I have a deep interest in history, as I grew up near by an ancient town named as Perge. Later on luckily, I have finished the course of Professional tour guiding by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey where we studied greek mythology, history of religions, history of Roman-Byzantium and Ottoman empires. For two years ın 2003-4 I guided the religous groups in Biblical sites within Turkey. I love being well-planned and punctual because I was serving as an English teacher in a military high school. My principle is ; rather than trying to solve the problem, not to let it happen! For ten years I was the chief guide of a world-wide Russian Tour operator (carrying about 4 million tourists to 26 countries in the world) I grew up in Antalya smelling, feeling, tasting, experiencing and enjoying the beauties, history and cultures of this land. May be I am new here in toursbylocals but have great experience in guiding. Will be always pleased to share my knowledge and to help you to make the most of the day! Graduate of English language and teaching from Dokuz Eylul University,1993-1998, The course of Effective Teaching Methods by EDOK 1999 (a unit of Turkish military schools,Turkey is a member of NATO) Professional Guiding Course by Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.1997, 2 years study of Russıan language in the philological faculty Al-Farabi university of Kazakhstan 2003-2004. none
