I have lived in this area for most of my life, except for a 25 year period where I lived in Auckland before returning to Tauranga 10 years ago. I have seen the Tauranga Port grow from small beginnings to become the biggest Port in New Zealand and Tauranga City become the second fastest-growing city in New Zealand. I know the region like the back of my hand and will explain and show you the many hidden secrets & aspects of our wonderful lifestyle in the Bay of Plenty region including our amazing 3 billion-dollar kiwifruit industry and the reasons people come to live and work here. I became involved with the tourism industry in 2011 as a casual driver for a big tour operator before striking out on my own 5 years ago and have never looked back. As a private tour guide, I am very familiar with New Zealand's rich history including Māori settlement, the arrival of the European settlers and the NZ economy which is part of my commentary. I love answering all of your questions. There's a lot to see and do in NZ's most popular cruise ship Port destination. Patrick provided us a day we will not forget. With my husbands mobility issues he adjusted the tour to his needs and still gave us the geysers, a Māori experience and a beautiful waterfall. Patrick was so thoughtful he even brought me to an optometrist to fix my glasses. I would definitely recommend a tour with Patrick.

A great tour. Patrick was outstanding, meeting us right outside the ship. In addition to transporting us to and from Hobbiton, he shared views of a kiwi farm and panoramas of the Tauranga harbor. Hobbiton exceed very high expectations.
