I am Wendy and I will be your Shore Excursion tour guide - a born and bred true "Kiwi" and very proud of my country! I have been tour guiding for 11 years and grew up in this lovely part of the world. As a child we went on family holidays to the beach in our caravan, spending all day swimming, fishing and exploring nature. I am sure my mother had many anxious moments waiting for our return. I now enjoy riding my Electric bike on the many bike trails within NZ, walking my dogs and eating good food. I left NZ in my early 20's to travel and have world experiences. Always looking to see where I would like to settle down, the desire was to return to NZ and show people a small part of my country by offering Shore Excursions private tours. As a tour guide I will take you to my favourite sights and places off the beaten track. I am a great story teller and enjoy sharing my tales of New Zealand to create lasting memories for you to take home. Come with me on a day of exploration and sightseeing as we tour in my backyard. . . . . . . . The Stunning Bay of Plenty …. with inviting Beaches, Geothermal Activity, Maori Culture, Hobbiton and warm friendly people. We seem to have it all. My tours are flexible and I will work in with your preferences for your day out. We can have an action packed day or take a more leisurely pace ensuring you arrive back at your ship on time. I look forward to welcoming you on board my VW air conditioned van for a day of exploring. I hold a NZ Passenger Service Operators Licence and my van has a NZ safe service certificate. I have traveled extensively though out the world and hold a Teaching English Certificate. No Restrictions

Overview of your Tauranga tour
Come with me on a half day tour around Tauranga, highlighting this fast growing city and its surrounds. Drive the beautiful coastal scenery with sandy beaches, lush countryside and abundant kiwi fruit and avocado orchards. We take a stroll to Mclarens Falls Waterfall, through NZ native Forest while listening to our native bird life. With our easy relaxed lifestyle you can see why "kiwis" are making this place home. The locals enjoy a spot of fishing and Surfing at the famous Mount Maunganui beach. We stop to take photos before leaving 'The Mount' - as the locals call it - and head to McLarens Falls. This could be a good time to have a taste of NZ food delights before our next adventure. From here we drive through farmland to the Minden Lookout 286 metres high, taking in prestine city, ocean, harbor, farmland and orchard views before making our way back towards town to take in the sights of our city based around the Harbor front.
