Kia Ora, and congratulations for taking a closer look at my profile and a desire to visit this fantastic diverse region with a personable knowledgeable private guide. Born and raised in Napier, I moved to Auckland for 18 years, and then for the last 30 years have lived, worked and played in Rotorua and just love it. I have been in the hospitality industry in Rotorua and have been in tourism for the last 18 years and am very passionate about our wonderful region. From Geothermal Activity to Flora and Fauna to Maori Culture and Nature the list goes on. I understand that a number of our clients travel a long way to New Zealand and want to make the most of their time here, therefore I will customise a tour to suit your preferences and being a local I can show you some unique places that the larger group tours miss. Our tours specialise in individuals, couples or small groups (up to 16). A speciality is Shore Excursions from the Port of Tauranga to Rotorua for a day tour, we understand the time constraints of these tours and have you back dockside at least 1 hour prior to the sailing time, and as I am a local resident of Rotorua I know where to go and how to get there without wasting valuable time. I have a range of vehicles from a Sedan to Stretch Limousines to Mercedes Sprinter mini coaches so that you may travel in style and comfort, full commentary, all vehicles are fully air-conditioned and we provide complimentary chilled bottled New Zealand water. Wai-o-tapu is another of the Region's colourful geothermal areas, with the largest and most active mud pool in New Zealand the Lady Knox Geyser which only erupts at 10. 15 am each day and the different coloured lakes, especially the Champagne Pool which is my favourite, within the park makes this an experience not to be forgotten. There are three different walking tracks to the park you can choose to do one, two or all three. I will then take you back to Rotorua and take in the sights and history of the city including the beautiful Government Gardens, the Museum and Bath House, Blue Baths, Te Runanga Tea House, Polynesian Spa, Rachael Spring, and the wonderful gardens. One of my favourite things to do is visit the Redwood Forest and walk amongst the giant Redwood trees and native Silver Ferns. Lunch is available at your own cost. Complimentary chilled bottled water is available in all vehicles.
The tour was amazing! Anne shared many fun facts about Rotorua and was very clear about the schedule. She guided us on where to go and what to do after visiting Wai-O-Tapu and the Agrodome. On top of that, she gave us a great lunch restaurant recommendation. Highly recommended!
Anne was very patient and accommodating. She considered my condition and kept pace with me, she didnt hurry me up. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the places we went to and shared her knowledge about the hot springs and mud pools. She was also entertaining and she made us feel at ease. We enjoyed her tour immensely and will recommend it highly

Anne was delightful - very flexible from the beginning, and really tailored the tour to what we wanted to do (for example, going to the gondola to do a couple of luge rides, which we hadn't had time to do the day before). She was knowledgeable, friendly, did great with some difficult driving, was interesting to talk to, and had a good sense of humor. Overall was well worth the money, and was a great way to see a large portion of the North Island and its sites in a short period of time. Thanks, Anne!
