Kia Ora, welcome my name is Stephen and have been living in Tauranga for the past 10 years and providing tours through our beautiful area most of that time. My wife Amanda and our beautiful 3 daughters keep me full of life and on the go when I am not meeting and traveling with our distinguished guests. Personally I love meeting new people and conversing with them in all roles. When not on tour myself I also work at Hobbiton Movie Set where I am a tour guide and bus driver. Absolutely love the environment there, the movie set never gets old and I just adore being outdoors in such majestic countryside. So, if I were to pick my favorite option it would have to be our Hobbiton Tour, followed closely by Ziplining in the Mamaku Forest (Rotorua). I love being on the road, driving, and the conversation with new friends from here and abroad. I hold a PSL which is a license issued by the NZ Ministry of Transport to provide and operate a passenger-based transport service (a legal requirement in New Zealand). I also hold a valid driver's license to take passengers - an endorsement requiring police screening and medical examination every 5 years. I hold certification in Horticulture with Fruit Production which is a strong industry here in the Bay of Plenty - providing vast global consumption of Kiwifruit and other fruit types and products. Your Private Tour will start with a comfortable drive along Pilot Bay and proceed along the wonderful Mount Maunganui beach - our Eastern Coastline. Visiting Te Puia Maori Arts and Crafts Village in the Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley with the Largest Geyser in the Southern Hemisphere. Here you will experience Maori Culture, and Maori Food with our Hungi Buffet Lunch. With a 1. 5-hour guided tour of Te Puia, you shall see Geothermal Activity, Geyser 'Pohutu' and even see the New Zealand native Kiwi Bird. After lunch, we shall continue to the world-renowned Polynesian Spa. Having around an hour to soak in the healing mineral waters you shall be feeling 10 years younger before we make our comfortable journey back to Tauranga. Refreshments shall be provided during your journey with me in a modern European Vehicle. Group sizes from 1 person to 18 people

Stephen gave my husband and I an outstanding free form 5+ hour tour from our port visit in Tauranga. He was very professional, yet friendly and congenial to us. From his choice of routes and sites we were able to get a real feel for the area. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer our many questions. Though the weather on this day was damp and rainy we were quite comfortable as we went from place to place in Stephen's quiet, roomy sedan. All in all, a lovely day!

Depending on where our day starts (collection from where you are staying) we will explore the Mount Maunganui area and make our way along the Coastline toward Papamoa as we head toward Rotorua. Rotorua is the second-largest lake in the North Island and covers 80 square kilometers. At Te Puia you will be guided through the Geo-Thermal Valley and appreciate 'Pohutu Geyser', the local Mud pool, and even our Native Kiwi Bird. Continuing your journey to the spectacular Polynesian Spa you will have time to bathe and relax finding some of that tranquility you may have been searching for. Our day shall conclude with a pleasurable journey back to where it all began. This private tour includes entrances to Te Puia with Hungi Buffet Lunch and Polynesian Spa (towels provided).
