Hi, my name is Assem, I'm an Egyptian living in Rome for 25 years. I'm married and I have 2 kids, 14 and 16 years old. I have worked as a tour leader for 7 years leading tourist groups all over Italy, and I've been working as a tour guide in Rome for the last 15 years, and I am very passionate for history, travel and Italian cuisine. Assem was great. Easy to communicate with. We had already seen some things on the tour and he readily added our ideas to replace them. He is very knowledgeable and had interesting stories about the history of our stops. He was very kind and accommodated a needed stop on the way. His cart is clean and comfortable and he is a seasoned driver on the Roman roads. Definitely...

This tour was exactly as promised! Good communication ahead of time. He showed us exactly what was promised. Assem is very knowledgeable about Rome and the golf cart made things very easy to save walking on a hot day. We would definitely recommend Assem as a tour guide!

Assem was excellent. ToursByLocals are the best. Assem picked us up at our hotel and re arranged some stops to accommodate places we hadn’t yet seen.
