I am by profession an opera singer, but I am also an experienced tour guide. I live in Italy with my Dutch husband since 25 years and we have founded a music association which organizes concerts, operas and other cultural events. I love the area where we live. It's just north of Rome and very near to Tuscany and Umbria. It is very green and full of history. I have worked for the Sunterra resort and Diamond resort for years doing tours with concerts and an evening operashow which has won the best price in entertainment. Living in a beautiful place in Vetralla has given me the opportunity to share the historical beauty with travellers from all over the world. Every year I host groups from the Chigaco university for dinners with music.

Tuscia is the still hidden area between two of the best-known tourist destinations in the world, Rome and Florence. It is calm and green and has a lot of history starting from the Etruscans, then Romans throughout to the medieval times and the luxury Renaissance period. Together, we'll discover the hidden places and my favourite little hilltop towns and enjoy a lunch at my place in the historic centre within the medieval walls and a historical garden in Vetralla, a town founded by the Etruscans. This is a perfect day of relax and having fun together in "Italian style" of Dolce vita!
The best tour in the region!!!! What beautiful places and the views. So refreshing to visit an area that is not crowded with tourists. Yet the breathtaking views still linger in our mind. I must add that what truly made this tour spectacular was Susanna our guide. She was not only knowledgeable, she was cool and fun! She knew exactly what we wanted to see and there was no rushing, also I must add her driving was perfect. Highly recommend her and our destination.
This tour is great, but Susanna is what makes it fabulous! She is the most warm and welcoming guide we have had. The best part for me and my husband was actually having lunch in her home and she prepared the food. If you don't want to visit Rome and are looking for that something special, please consider booking this tour. You will not be disappointed.
My wife and I had a fantastic day with Susan. She took us to three small villages near Rome where we were able to walk without all the crowds and commotion in Rome. Susan's knowledge and love of her adopted area was so evident. Although the walks through the villages were great, the highlight of the day was still to come. After the tours, Susan took us to her home where she and her husband prepared a wonderful Italian meal for us. Susan is not only a fantastic guide, but is also a fantastic person.
