Shore excursion from Civitavecchia to discover Etruscans and the great Castle in Bracciano

Everything about this tour was very well done, from residence pickup to residence drop-off. Susanna was very personable and knowledgeable The tombs and museum are truly fascinating. The town of Bracciano and the castle offer spectacnular vistas of the caldera lake. The tour of the castle was quite interesting, offering glimpses of what living and warring in the day was like. Also in Bracciano we enjoyed a most delicious lunch and delightful conversation with Susanna. Lastly, the tour checks the "Avoid the Crowd" box. Highly recommend not only the tour, but our guide, Susanna. You will not be disappointed (unless you put a lot of effort into it).

Susanna is great! We had a lovely time after our cruise and enjoyed the less touristy places. If you want to change the itinerary a bit she was more than happy to accommodate. It was the perfect way to end our vacation.

Susanna was, by far, the best tour guide we have ever experienced. She was so knowledgeable and we were so comfortable spending the day with her. Susanna picked us up across the street from the port in Civitavecchia and drove us to Lake Bracciano and two of the local towns, Bracciano and Trevignano. Both towns are stunning lakeside villages and Bracciano has a must see castle. We highly recommend Susanna and will return to see her again.
