I am by profession an opera singer, but I am also an experienced tour guide. I live in Italy with my Dutch husband since 25 years and we have founded a music association which organizes concerts, operas and other cultural events. I love the area where we live. It's just north of Rome and very near to Tuscany and Umbria. It is very green and full of history. I have worked for the Sunterra resort and Diamond resort for years doing tours with concerts and an evening operashow which has won the best price in entertainment. Living in a beautiful place in Vetralla has given me the opportunity to share the historical beauty with travellers from all over the world. Every year I host groups from the Chigaco university for dinners with music.

The Gardens of Bagnaia and Bomarzo tour with a Private Guide!
Overview of your Viterbo tour
We will start this private day-tour driving to the first Italian Renaissance Garden Villa Lante in Bagnaia and then visit one of my favourite places ,its so authentic medieval borgo. After a nice lunch in one of the traditional restaurants we will discover the hidden treasure of the Renaissance Gardens of Bomarzo the so-called Monster Park with its amazing huge statues of 16th century. A treat!

Susanna was a great guide…..she showed us around many little towns, giving us the history of each. She was very knowledgeable as she answered all of our questions without hesitation. She even made a few extra stops, based on our preferences, which was really appreciated. The view outside Montefiascone , the wine seller restaurant, was amazing and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this tour with Susanna to others.

This tour was a delight!! Susanna was an amazing host and introduced us to an Italy we never knew existed. She was knowledgable and friendly and fun. We loved every stop on the tour and felt it flowed at a great pace so even my 12 year old daughter was constantly entertained and engaged. (She especially loved taking photos in the monster garden!) It was also quite relaxing versus a busy/crowded day in Rome. I can't recommend this tour enough!

Amazing tour with Susanna! She went out of her way to make sure our family had the most amazing time. Very easy going and comfortable to be on a long journey with. You will not regret booking a tour with her. So knowledgeable about the area and was great with all ages in our group (kids, adults and grandparents). Even made an unplanned detour once she learned of something a person on our tour was particularly interested in. So great! We would only book with her again if we were to return.
