Guide #57900
A "Bildungstourist" turned tour guide, I moved to Hamburg 11 years ago to pursue my post-graduate studies in philosophy. It wasn't love at first sight with Hamburg, but the city worked its charms on me and today I am a knowledgeable and passionate tour guide in Hamburg with over 6 years of guiding experience. With a PhD in History of Ideas and a penchant for general history, I offer captivating tours that delve into Hamburg's rich history and cultural heritage. My intimate understanding of Hamburg and my love for travel and conversation turn my tours into experiences that go beyond the surface. Whether you're a history enthusiast, an architecture lover, or simply a curious traveler seeking an authentic Hamburg experience, I offer tours that cater to the interests and preferences of each guest. A North American cruise tourist can have a wonderful day walking around Hamburg yourself. Submit, however, that a guide like Nawaz turns 3 hours into a whole other level of experience.

Nawaz was excellent! Despite our booking being somewhat last minute, he delivered an extremely informative tour with a diverse itinerary that covered many aspects of Hamburg's past and its present. He was also very helpful in organizing the rest of our trip. Highly recommend him as a guide!
