Guide #43849
Very warm welcome in beautiful and historic city of Québec. I am an active guide since 2012, and have guided small and big groups in English, German and French. Enthusiastic and passionate with a sense of humor, I have a very good knowledge of history and geography. I can talk about these subjects and be entertaining. I have been living in the city for 50 years, therefore I can say a lot about everyday living in the city and the area. I like to talk about history when it can explain the events that follow, the dates of events are important only when put in a chronological context. I think guiding should be a learning experience as well as entertaining. At the end of a tour, the people I guide have a better understanding of the city, the province of Quebec and Canada and had a good time. I communicate very well both ways: talking and listening, therefore the tours listed can be custom tailored to your specific needs and expectations. Please contact me before the tours for proposed modifications, if any. I look forward to show you my wonderful city and its surroundings. B. Sc from the Université de Montréal. I am a licensed guide of the city of Québec since 2012. Member of the Historical society of Québec. Member of the Guide's association of the city of Québec. Additional university courses in Economics, History and Languages. No restrictions.

The first (a half-day) focused on First Nations (FN) history then and now, including a visit to the Wendake Reservation (and its replica Wendat (aka Huron) village houses, canoes, etc.. and don’t forget to visit its wonderful Gift Shop!), brought to life by a wonderfully interesting and informative...

Thank you for your review. It was very nice for me to share my interest for the first nations with you. Also the day tour was very agreable.
Beautiful Quebec was an amazing adventure for my spouse and I. We have been on excursions in many countries before as part of a larger tour group with mixed results. When we looked at the city of Quebec and the surrounding area and all that there was to see, we made the decision to book a private tour. It was a little more expensive, but it was simply amazing. Thank you for your review. Being in your 70s and slower (??) moving made it such that we could take more time to explain and exchange. By the way, you were not slow moving...
