Guide #22521
Welcome to Cambodia, Kingdom Of Wonders! Cambodia is a South-East Asian Nation bordered by Vietnam to the east, Laos to the north, Thailand to the northwest, and gulf of Thailand to the southwest. Angkor Archaeological Park, located in northern Cambodia, is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. It stretches over some 400 square kilometres, including forested area. Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of several capitals of the Khmer Empire of the 9th to the 15th centuries, including the largest pre-industrial city in the world. The most famous ones are the Temple of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, the Bayon temple with its countless sculptural decorations of Buddha faces and Ta Prohm Temple. Angkor Archaeological Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. At the same time, it was also placed on the List of World Heritage in Danger due to looting, a declining water table, and unsustainable tourism. UNESCO has now set up a wide-ranging program to safeguard this symbolic site and its surroundings. Angkor itself has no accommodations and few facilities; the nearby town of Siem Reap, just 7km to the south, is the tourist hub for the area. In order to facilitate all visitors who need privately guided tours to ancient Angkor temples, outskirt remote temples, or around Cambodia, I would prefer to promise to offer or customize whatever you want to experience. I can provide wonderful private guided tours, customized tours and adventure tours for a memorable, joyous, fruitful trip and photographic opportunities to visitors who have chance to experience Cambodia. Tours are provided with professional tour guide services into temples with comfortable vehicles equipped with air-conditioning, cold chilled waters and wipes. Another awesome half-day temple tour with Chansip (we did Angkor Wat yesterday). As before, Chansip picked us up on time with a spacious vehicle and driver. He was great explaining the history of Taprohm Temple, and he took fantastic pictures of us during the tour. I highly recommend this tour and tour guide.

We can’t gush enough about Chansip and driver Powlar (sp?). AMAZING travel for our foursome. Chansip provides EXCELLENT history/political/culture information in good (not perfect) English, with a dash of humor. Lunch locations: good mix of Asian and Western options. Went to off-the-usual path places at the popular temples in the Angkor Wat complex, to special...

Chansip was flexible to our needs helping us see the temples and understand the significance. When I didn't feel well the driver was happy to accomodate dropping me back to the hotel while the guide carried on with my husband which was really appreciated by both of us. They had water, cooled towels, and a large air conditioned van which helped us maximize our time and...
