2-Day Angkor Wat Tour – Explore Angkor Temples & Siem Reap

Dara was our guide on a 2 day tour of Siem Reap. The tour included all the amazing Angkar temples, local villages, an ox cart ride, a tour of Kampong Phluk, a cultural dinner and dance and did I mention lots more amazing temples? Dara is an excellent guide. I would recommend him highly to anyone! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about Khmer culture and history. His ability to make history come alive was fantastic. He knows the places to go which are less crowded but still amazing. He has a keen sense of humour too which we also really enjoyed. He provided a great mix of history, stories, activities and made our time in Siem Reap very memorable. From our first dealings with Dara he was responsive, organised and professional. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a memorable time in Siem Reap.

Dara was an exceptional guide and a fantastic representative of the warm and welcoming people of Cambodia. Before our tour, he promptly answered all our questions about the itinerary, the sites, and the city, and he was very flexible in accommodating our requests. During the two days we spent with him, we learned so much about Cambodia’s rich history, both ancient and recent. We explored all the main sights Angkor Wat has to offer, and Dara also took us to some hidden gems off the beaten path. He always managed to choose the routes with the fewest crowds, which made the experience feel calm and personal. He also has a great eye for photography, thanks to him, I came away with so many beautiful shots! Thank you, Dara, for an unforgettable experience. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, insightful, and truly special tour in Siem Reap and Angkor Wat.

We had a great time with Dara. He coordinated our tour of the Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Bayon Temple with precision and experience. He knew all the important sites for a great photo shot. His also had a driver with a Lexus with the most comfortable back seats. We still owned the same model, as a third car, because of its plush interior and superior comfort. Thank you Dara for a very memorable day beginning with the famed Sunrise over Angkor Wat. A definite must!

Shares a good mix of tourist favorites as well as those off the beaten path. Generous and flexible, he happily gave great recommendations and took us to local areas we asked to see. Please consider Dara and supporting Cambodian tourism after the undeserved hit it has taken from Covid-19. Cannot recommend him or this incredible country enough.

We had a great time on our two days in Angkor! Dara is very knowledgeable and attentive, keen to answer every question we asked. He is funny as well and seems to be very passionate about his culture. He knows how to navigate the temples to make the most out of your time, pointing out every place where we could get the best shots.
