I was born and raised in a rural community within Kampong Thom province. As a young adult, I spent many years as a monk. During this time I studied philosophy and religion at universities in Myanmar and Taiwan. More recently I spent a short time in Australia and Singapore. Through my studies and varied life experiences, I have developed a comprehensive knowledge of the ancient and modern history of my country. Those same life experiences along with many years as a guide, have given me insights into the needs of clients from various parts of the world. I speak English and Chinese as well as my native Khmer language. My aim as your guide is to provide you with an unforgettable experience. This could be tours of the temples in Angkor Archaeological Park, tours around the city, tours to outlying temples, to beaches, or to areas away from the usual tourist trail. In addition being a tour guide, I am an experienced travel consultant and can arrange all your travel needs including accommodation, transportation, entrance fees, boat trips and meals. Our whole day tour with Sotath T was a highlight of our travels in Vietnam and Cambodia. He is a remarkably knowledgeable person with deep understanding of the temple sites and their religious and historic origins As two well seasoned travellers in their 70s Sotath took care to go at a pace that suited us on a particularly hot day. As former teachers we were impressed by his excellent English and his ability to explain the nuances of Buddhism and the history of Cambodia A+ on all counts highly recommended
Our tour guide Sotath arrived on time and had kindly organised a larger vehicle which had good A/C as it was very hot. He is very knowledgeable but didn't overload of with facts. He was also very considerate of my husband who had difficulty coping with the heat and the steps. Sotath was a very good driver and courteous to other road users. I would thoroughly recommend him.

This was the most amazing guided tour of Angor Wat with Sotath and his driver Geetar. Sotath clearly listened, read and understood my requests from the email transactions before we arrived and had already planned an appropriate itinerary for our visit. Sotath and his driver Geetar were so polite and extremely helpful in navigating the temples as well as helping us navigate the required overnight stay that we were not prepared for when we left Bangkok. I highly recommend this team to anyone for a tour.
Sotath was an exceptional guide for our private tour of the temples. He was very flexible on our timing, itinerary, and day. We adjusted our tour to see the sunrise in Angkor Wat and then had an amazing tour of the temple with great information about the history from Sotath. He truly appreciates him homeland and is able to share his knowledge in a way that helps others find a connection with Cambodia and it's people. Morning We pick you from hotel at 8:30am and drive to visit Angkor Thom, the side of the ancient of the Khmer period, visit South gate, Bayon temple, Bapoun temple, Royal enclossure, Phimean akas, Terrace of Elephent, and terrace of Leper King. Taprom temple ( Tomb raider movie ) 12:00am break for lunch on the way After noon visit angkor wat the famous and biggest temple and then visit floating village Tonle sap Lake , Back to hotel end of tour
