An hour west of Toronto in the fertile country side near Kitchener and Waterloo you can visit the Mennonite village of St. Jacobs with its vibrant Framers market. This one of many Mennonite communities in the area. Pick your fruit fresh from the farm while exploring the rich and deep rooted culture of the Mennonite communities.
In the afternoon we visit the Elora gorge and other natural little wonders in the surroundings before heading back into the city of Toronto.

We depart in the morning from your hotel to drive west towards Kitchener and Waterloo. Here we visit the St. Jacobs market. This is the largest framers market in Ontario and you have a possibility to buy your fruit and other produce straight from the Mennonite community. A simple stroll along the stall is certainly worth a visit.
From here we visit the Mennonite village of St. Jacobs. Conestogo and West Montrose before heading towards the Elora gorge. After a short walk along the gorge we make our way through the country side back to Toronto.
This is a cultural rich, informative and fun tour and a great opportunity to learn about the culture and history of the Mennonites in Ontario
