The most comprehensive tour of all Star Wars filming locations & sets in Tunisia! This tour can begin from Tunis, Tozeur or Djerba. Feel free to let me know if you would like to add an extra day - with a night in a desert camp in the Sahara desert. Over the course of 6 full days, fans will see the following: *Tozeur, the Mountain Oases of Tamerza, Chebika & Mides. *A half day tour by 4x4 of the Star Wars film locations near Tozeur, including Ong el Jemal (Mos Espa), Camel's Neck Rock, Star Wars Canyon, the Lars Homestead, *Ksar Haddada, Ksar Ouled Soltane, the ksars of Medenine *the troglodyte homes of Matmata & Sidi Driss Hotel *Sidi Djemour, Obi-Wan Kenobi's home, the "Cantina" on Djerba, with a tour of Houmt Souk & the village of ErRiadh *one night in a B&B / hotel with troglodyte rooms I know very well the places and the people in this itinerary. I have done this tour several times and my guests have been always happy of it. I will not let Jedi fans down!
Your Tunis tour itinerary
Please note that accommodation is not included, so you need to book your hotels by yourself. Day 1: Pick up at the airport. Tour of the Island, including Houmt Souk, the village ErRiadh, & 3 Star Wars film locations: the Cantina, Obi-Wan Kenobi's home & Sidi Djemour. Day 2: Djerba - Salt Lake - Star Wars Canyon (Sidi Bouhlil) - Tozeur: walking tour of old Tozeur & the oasis, and overnight. Day 3: Mountain Oasis of Tamerza, Chebika & Mides. Afternoon: trip by 4x4 to see Ong el Jemal (Mos Espa), Camel's Neck Rock, Nefta, La Grande Dune, sunset at the Lars Homestead on the Salt Lake. Day 4: Tozeur - the Berber village of Toujane - the troglodyte homes of Matmata & Hotel Sidi Driss. Overnight in a hotel/B&B of your choice, with troglodyte rooms. Day 5: Matmata - Ksar Haddada - Ksar Ouled Soltane - the ksars of Medenine - return to Djerba & overnight. Day 6: Transfer to the airport. *Ask me if you wish to add an extra day to include a camel trek in the Sahara desert.
