Hello, I am your friendly guide with 33 years experience, and a member of the Canadian Tour Guides Association. Why wait for 6 hours during a layover? I can show you Toronto rather than you being bored at the airport. Do you have a whole day? Niagara region, Ste. Marie Among the Hurons - the seventeenth century Indian village, or visit the Mennonite country at St. Jacobs, African Lion Safari or the McMichael Gallery in the hamlet of Kleinburg. If you would like to go elsewhere, I can create a custom tour just for you. I drive a red Toyota Corolla. And if you happen to have a Handicapped sign that I can display in my car, please bring it. Does not matter what country issued it. Clean Abstract. Police clearance, RCMP clearance, Vulnerable Persons clearance. Graduated hotel management; Teach international etiquette; Retired music teacher. I don't travel well with small children or animals in the car.

Overview of your Toronto tour

St. Jacobs is a lovely village an hour and a half west of Toronto. Go back in time and learn how Mennonites live their daily lives. First we arrive at the market where a New Order Mennonite will hold a presentation of the Old and the New orders. During that time I will bring you coffee and apple fritter, the Mennonites' favourite dish. Then we will check out the outdoor and indoor market; I invite you to a very casual lunch and we chat with whomever we sit next to. After browsing the market we drive into the centre of the village and check out the silos plus one quite old store. After having afternoon coffee and apple cake which is a must, we will drive to the Kissing Bridge, the only covered bridge left in Ontario. And you don't have to touch your wallet. I look after everything.

We had a wonderful trip touring St. Jacobs Heritage Village. We really enjoyed the market, and a stroll through the town was lovely as well. Adeodata is an excellent guide--very knowledgeable about the area, the history and the culture. We enjoyed our meals and treats as well! We also simply enjoyed spending time with Adeodata. She accommodated a special request we made to visit another nearby area, and she was very gracious in honoring that request. She is also a very kind and friendly person who is a good conversationalist. We enjoyed getting to know her. I highly recommend this tour!

Our day spent with Adeodata was just perfect from start to finish! Apart from being a warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable person she also thought of everything from snacks and water in the car, to scarves and umbrellas for us as the day was a bit chilly. She absolutely tailored the trip to suit us and we were free to spend as long as we wanted at each place which made for a very relaxed trip. She even had a quiz for us on the way back which was a lot of fun! I hope to be back one day
