Hello, dear travelers! My name is Edin Ogresevic, and I am a licensed tour guide for Bosnia and Herzegovina. I was born and raised in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina—often called the "Jerusalem of Europe" due to its incredible mix of cultures, religions, and histories. Growing up in this extraordinary city gave me a deep appreciation for its unique character, and it has always been my passion to share its beauty, history, and traditions with the world. A Passion Turned Into a Career Although I hold a degree in economics, my true calling has always been tour guiding. Since 2012, I have dedicated my life to this profession, gaining extensive experience leading various types of tours and working with travelers from all around the globe. One of the most memorable moments of my career was in 2015, when I had the honor of guiding former U.S. President Bill Clinton and meeting Madeleine Albright. This experience was truly inspiring and encouraged me to establish Meet Bosnia Tours, which has grown into one of the leading tour operators in Bosnia and Herzegovina. What to Expect When Touring With Me If you choose me as your guide, you will not just explore Bosnia and Herzegovina—you will experience it. I take great pride in sharing the country's rich history, traditions, and diverse religious heritage, as well as revealing hidden gems that most visitors don’t get to see. Whether you're looking for the best traditional food and coffee, historical landmarks, or personal stories from Sarajevo’s past, I will make sure you leave with unforgettable memories. I am known for being responsible, flexible, and outgoing, ensuring that every tour is engaging, insightful, and tailored to your interests. My goal is for you to experience Bosnia not just as a visitor but as a friend. Professional Credentials I am a licensed tour guide for Bosnia and Herzegovina, certified to provide in-depth historical and cultural tours. Additionally, I hold a special certification in "Jewish Sarajevo", allowing me to offer deeper insights into the Jewish heritage of the city. While I can guide you through every corner of Bosnia and Herzegovina, please note that I am not permitted to conduct tours outside of the country. I look forward to welcoming you to Bosnia and Herzegovina and showing you why this land is so special. Let’s explore together!

This is an amazing full-day tour designed for all the history and nature lovers since this tour really offers a lot from these perspectives. We will visit the two most beautiful and historically most important towns - Travnik and Jajce. Travnik city was the capital of Bosnian eyalet in Ottoman times. Now there are 28 protected cultural and historical buildings in this charming town so we will see the most important of them including the imposing Travnik Fortress constructed in the period of the Bosnian Kingdom. Jajce, known as city of stone, light, and water served as capital of the independent medieval Kingdom of Bosnia. We will see the symbol of this town-museum - a breathtaking waterfall located in the central part of the city. To fulfill this royal experience, we will visit medieval catacombs and see the old St. Mary's Church. We will not miss seeing amazing Pliva Lakes and Pliva Watermills constructed in the 16th century.
The best would be to start with the tour early in the morning, around 08:00 AM and enjoy with no rush all the beautiful places we are going to see in this full-day tour: - Sarajevo - Travnik drive - Travnik Fortress - an amazing medieval fortress - Bluewater - a beautiful little river in the center of Travnik - Sarena Mosque in Travnik - a very unique mosque from many aspects - Ivo Andric's (Nobel price winner) birth house - Travnik - Jajce drive - Jajce Waterfall - stunning waterfall in the center of the city - Jajce medieval catacombs - amazing place used as an underground church - Pliva Lakes - a wonder of nature - Pliva Watermills - amazing Ottoman-era watermills - Return to Sarajevo Any time I can customize this tour for a bigger group and arrange a bigger vehicle.
