I have given 120+ tours to TBL customers to date. My passion for the desert southwest and outdoors brought me to AZ after many vacations here. My previous life experience was working in progressive politics. I left the office behind to follow my heart giving personal, up close tours of our desert land in 2006, briefly working for a corporate tour company. Following my experience touring van loads of people, I began offering personal driving tours of the Phoenix area as an alternative to "jamming people into vans" for rushed trips to tourist traps. I prefer offering laid back, unrushed tours of Phoenix/Scottsdale and the Valley as well as "Backroad" adventures to the incredible Apache Trail and other sites that the tour companies can't - or won't go to. My Scottsdale/Phoenix City tour is my most popular & a great introduction to the area. Want a tour with a different drop off? (i. e. Airport Car rental or remote location, etc)? I offer a Custom City Tour to modify to your itinerary/schedule. I look forward to working with you to create a tour to suit your needs! I enjoy showing my city and the desert southwest to people who come here and appreciate its amazing beauty. If you would like a tour that is not listed for a specific time/date, feel free to message me for availability. If you are looking for a laid back, relaxed, quality personal tour to enjoy the serenity of our land I would be glad to show you our beautiful land! Treat yourself to a day in "Red Rock Country". We'll tour to Sedona - a picturesque city surrounded by red-rock monoliths. I first fell in love with Red Rock country in 1998. The area has exploded with growth and tourism since. Some highlights we can see are the famous "Chapel of the Holy Cross" followed by a stop for photos, snacks and shopping as you desire. If interested I can also take you for a brief drive up close to the rocks for photos and/or a short stroll. I can also highlight some of the "vortex" sights, if desired. After we'll return to Phoenix via the freeway.
Wonderful tour and guide. Eric is the best! This was my third tour with him. Very obliging and courteous. Thanks for a great day.
Eric was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He was willing to make the trip exactly what we wanted it to be, and not what he had planned. He took us interesting places we would never have found on our own, provided water and snacks, and bent over backwards to make sure we could do what we wanted. Only suggestion is that he put in some sort of amplification system as he is soft spoken and it was sometimes difficult to hear him from the back seat. Great job, Eric.
An excellent tour to a beautiful area which is well worth seeing. Eric was an excellent guide tailoring the tour to my interests (and suggesting sites ie Tuzigoot National Monument) as well as visiting the main sites and going for brief off road trails ( not too bumpy). There was plenty of time to have a brief walk at the stops to take photos and admire the scenery. Lots of water and fruits were provided on the tour and he offered to take as many pictures with you in them as you wanted.
As a senior female travelling alone I found Eric to be a true gentleman. He is a good driver and his car very comfortable. He was also intuitive to when I needed to slow down or take a rest, and asked if I needed water or restroom time frequently. He was very informative regarding where we went and what we saw. He was very patient as I took the 200+ photos throughout the tour. I highly recommend this guide and will definitely secure his services when I return to Arizona.
-We'll depart the Phoenix area taking via freeway which we can leave for a beautiful back road that winds through scenic Sonoran Desert + mountains. (Optionally, if you prefer to spend more time in Sedona we can take a more direct route as well just let me know - After all, it's YOUR tour! -We'll tour to Sedona - where we'll see the "Chapel of the Holy Cross" and stop for photos, snacks/food and shopping as you desire. -Options can include shopping in the central market/shopping area of Sedona or a more local Native trading post. -Or we can focus more on the beautiful natural sights & red rock wonders of the area. -After we'll return to Phoenix via the freeway for a total of approx. 8 hours total.
