Hello and welcome! I'm excited that you found me. It is in our nature to long to experience "awe, " which is what draws us to beautiful sunsets, majestic mountains and cavernous canyons. To be overwhelmed by something greater than ourselves drives us to connect with the expanse of nature. To share these experiences with you is why I guide. A little bit about my background. I am an adventure guide with over twenty years of experience. As an adventure racer, I've journeyed around the world doing some really crazy stuff like racing camels in Morocco, white water rafting in New Zealand, mountain biking through British Columbia and rappelling into icy canyons in Switzerland. As a mountain climber, I've been to the roof of Africa on Mt. Kilimanjaro (19, 341 feet) in 2014, as well as to the highest point in South America—Aconcagua (22, 838 feet) in 2016. I've also trekked to Everest base camp, Machu Picchu and climbed volcanoes in Mexico. Arizona has been my home for the past 15 years. In addition to the Phoenix area, my favorite locations to share with you are Grand Canyon and the red rocks of Sedona. I've guided internationally and throughout the southwest United States for over 20 years. I love creating custom trips to share my passion for Phoenix, Arizona and the great outdoors. Giving you memorable, once in a life time adventures is my goal! Let;s get outside together! Certifications: Wilderness First Responder, Wilderness First Aid, CPR I do not have any restrictions in regard to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences. If I lack expertise for certain activities, I have local contacts to join us for those portions of the tours, although I will still be leading you.

This full-day tour will allow you to visit museums that are unique to Phoenix. With one museum in the morning and another in the afternoon, you will have plenty of time to experience each one in depth. 1) Taliesin West is Frank Lloyd Wright's desert laboratory. Established in 1937 and and is deeply connected to the desert from which it was forged thus possessing an almost prehistoric grandeur. 2) Musical Instrument Museum displays more than 7, 000 instruments collected from around the world. Most displays are enhanced by audio and video that allow guests to see the instruments and hear their sounds 3) Desert Botanical Garden is home to thousands of species of cactus, trees and flowers from all around the world spread across 55 acres in Phoenix, Arizona. 4) Heard Museum Since its founding in 1929, the Heard is dedicated to the advancement of American Indian art, successfully presenting the stories of American Indian people from a first-person perspective. If you want to visit them all, then book two days!
Our day will begin at 8:30 in the morning and we will arrive at our first museum by opening time. If the museums offer docent lead tours, we will try to take advantage of those. We will have a full 3 hours to see all that our first experience has to offer. After a morning museum, we will have lunch before travelling to our second destination. We will then spend until 4 pm exploring our afternoon museum. You will be dropped off at your hotel or location of your choice after our last visit of the day.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
