I have been exploring Arizona for over 35 years. What I have learned is there is something here for everyone. From archaeology to zoology, and everything in between, there is so much to see. I love mountaineering, canyoneering, caving, hiking as well as finding a nice quiet place to just sit and relax and take it all in. I love to spend time looking for fossils and gemstones and learning about Arizona's past and also being in the present looking for beautiful birds, reptiles and discovering the plethora of life in this unique environment. I am a certified Wilderness First Responder and guide for The National Park and The National Forest. I am also a member of The National Speleological Society and The Arizona Herpetological Society. My real passion is sharing Arizona with people from all over the world. Travelers who have never been here can't imagine all of the mountains, rivers and beautiful forests that are found here in the state. I know that when you leave you will have a greater understanding of all the diversity and splendor that is here and that is what will bring you back again and again. Certified guide for The Grand Canyon National Park and The Tonto National Forest. I am a Wilderness First Responder, CPR and First Aid certified and member of The National Speleological Society. I am also a minister and can perform ceremonies in nature. I have been a professional Tour Guide for over 20 years. No Restrictions.

With all the rain this we have had this will certainly be a banner year, a super bloom, for the wildflowers of The Sonoran Desert. The Apache Trail in The Superstition Mountains is not a walking trail but one of Americas most scenic roads. This mountain road is just a few miles out of Phoenix/Scottsdale and winds through The Superstition Mountains. The hills will be ablaze with Purple Lupines and Orange Mexican Poppies. The Brittlebush dominates the landscape with its bright yellow flowers. And The Strawberry Hedgehog is the first succulent to bloom with its crimson flowers. We will turn around at Tortilla Flat, population 6. There you can try the Prickly Pear ice cream. This tour is a great introduction into The Sonoran Desert, the most biologically diverse desert in the world. You will have opportunities to see Big Horn Sheep, Javelina, raptors and reptiles. You will also have an option to get out on foot for a short stroll through this beautiful ecosystem if you would like.
This tour takes about 4. 5 hours, depending upon time spent at each location. -Pick up at your location *Stops at: -Goldfield Ghost Town -Canyon Lake Vista -Tortilla Flat -Return to your location
