Hello and welcome! I'm excited that you found me. It is in our nature to long to experience "awe, " which is what draws us to beautiful sunsets, majestic mountains and cavernous canyons. To be overwhelmed by something greater than ourselves drives us to connect with the expanse of nature. To share these experiences with you is why I guide. A little bit about my background. I am an adventure guide with over twenty years of experience. As an adventure racer, I've journeyed around the world doing some really crazy stuff like racing camels in Morocco, white water rafting in New Zealand, mountain biking through British Columbia and rappelling into icy canyons in Switzerland. As a mountain climber, I've been to the roof of Africa on Mt. Kilimanjaro (19, 341 feet) in 2014, as well as to the highest point in South America—Aconcagua (22, 838 feet) in 2016. I've also trekked to Everest base camp, Machu Picchu and climbed volcanoes in Mexico. Arizona has been my home for the past 15 years. In addition to the Phoenix area, my favorite locations to share with you are Grand Canyon and the red rocks of Sedona. I've guided internationally and throughout the southwest United States for over 20 years. I love creating custom trips to share my passion for Phoenix, Arizona and the great outdoors. Giving you memorable, once in a life time adventures is my goal! Let;s get outside together! Certifications: Wilderness First Responder, Wilderness First Aid, CPR I do not have any restrictions in regard to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences. If I lack expertise for certain activities, I have local contacts to join us for those portions of the tours, although I will still be leading you.

This tour is for those who are nostalgic for a local slice of the the wild, wild west. We will head east of town to visit the historic Goldfield Ghost town. Sitting at the edge of the Superstition Mountains, this town takes you back to the late 1800's and early 1900's when the gold rush was still in full swing and the Lost Dutchman's Gold mine was the intrigue of the day. We will also visit the Lost Dutchman's Museum which highlights not only the legend of the mine, but also Hollywood's cinematic history in the area. We will wrap up our adventure with a tour Old Town Scottsdale. The heart of Scottsdale, this area is a slice of the old west amidst the glamour of the "Hollywood" of Phoenix.
Tour itinerary will be the following: - Our day will begin with a pick-up at a mutually agreed upon time. - We will drive east of town for about 40 minutes to the ghost town. - After touring the town, and the Lost Dutchman's Museum, we will drive back to Old Town Scottsdale where we will tour the area and hit points of interest. Tour can be customized upon request.
