Hi and welcome to Nashville! I spent 42 years as a high school principal, retiring recently. While I loved working in education, what excited me and kept me going for the rest of the year were the wonderful trips that were planned. I love to travel! And I love to be with travelers. Along with those who love visiting a new place, I am always excited to see something new, find out what makes a place tick, and have the chance to delight in new experiences. Whether it's a historical sight, an item of local cuisine, or the chance to mingle with locals, It's so exciting to discover new places and see new things. I have a passion for wanting to share with you the history of, the reason for, and the excitement of the Nashville area. It's so much fun to find something new around every corner. The Nashville area is a growing and vibrant community, and I would love to show you around. Although I have places and experiences in mind, I'm always ready to learn what special requests you have in mind so that we can customize your tour. I look forward to showing you around and seeing the excitement in your eyes as you discover new places and new things!

As the time the United States became a country, fur traders were already working in what would become Nashville. As one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States, Nashville has something to offer everyone. I love the people, the food, the music, the history and the culture of Music City - and I would love to share what this city has to offer with you. Come and explore this exciting metropolis with me!
-Ryman Auditorium (the original Grand Ole Opry) -Bridgestone Arena (home of the Nashville Predators) -Historic Union Station, now a luxury hotel -Tennessee State Capitol Building -Centennial Park and the Parthenon replica -The Grand Ole Opry (now celebrating100 years) A lunch stop can be included at the Elliston Avenue Soda Shop, a place for burgers and shakes unchanged since the 1940s when it opened. It's truly like walking back into history. I am able to customize this tour to include whatever you would like to see.

Broadway & 2nd Avenue North, Nashville, TN, USA
We will meet in front of Chief's on Broadway, a six-story live music venue and bar. The address of the building is 200 Broadway in Nashville and it's located at the corner of Broadway and Second Avenue. The meeting point is also adjustable, so let me know if you want to begin somewhere else, like your hotel.
