Ninth Generation Nashvillian who is an expert on all things Nashville including Country Music, Civil Rights Woman's Suffrage, Architecture, Business history, Higher Education history, Business history, Sports, and local museums. I have lived in Nashville my entire life and I am seen and the go to person for Nashville history and tours. I am a Historian and have the largest private collection of Nashville memorabilia and many are currently on display at the Parthenon. I enjoy taking people to some of my favorite buildings like the Ryman Auditorium, The Parthenon, Tennessee State Capitol and the Country Music Hall of Fame. I was involved in programming the Civil Rights Room and the Votes for Women Room in the Downtown Library which are also my favorites. The tour will begin in front of the Ryman Auditorium in the heart of Downtown Nashville on the oldest street in the city. We will walk the downtown area seeing famous sight, unique architecture and learning the story of Music City, its famous bars and the great singers and songwriters who made history in Nashville.
